If you’re living the keto lifestyle, you’re going to absolutely love dining at Ruth’s, as we have a variety of delicious options that are keto-compliant.
It’s no secret that the keto diet has soared in popularity in the last few years. While similar in some ways to other familiar low-carb diets, the keto diet’s carb restrictions (about 20 net carbs a day or less, depending on the version) and the deliberate shift into ketosis are what set this diet apart. Today, several versions of the keto diet are detailed in books and online. The common thread among them is choosing high-fat foods coupled with very low daily carbs.
Maybe you’re planning to dine at Ruth’s Chris for a special occasion, or perhaps you have an upcoming date night or family celebration and need to adhere to your ketogenic diet. Whatever the occasion, we’re here to help with the menu information you need to make the right choice for you.
Between daily meal prep and counting net carbs, adhering to the keto diet takes focus. When it comes to dining out, planning ahead is key. As a general guideline, you will want to choose items that are higher in fat and protein and low in net carbs. At Ruth's Chris, we’ve curated a variety of dishes to make sure everyone at the table can enjoy a delicious and memorable meal that’s just right for them.
In these menu selections, net carbs (the total amount of carbohydrates in a serving subtracted by the amount of fiber) are kept to low levels – no more than 4-5 grams in a meal. This allows you to add a spirit or cocktail with the remaining 1-2 grams of carbs allotted for this sitting. If you are not sure which items are compliant with your diet, it is always best to consult a nutritionist before you dine out.
