For the Wagners, winemaking isn’t just a passion—it’s in their blood. Chuck Wagner’s
parents, Lorna Belle Glos and Charlie Wagner, were both born to families who helped
shaped Napa Valley’s wine industry in the late 1800s and beyond. At 19, he joined his
parents to create Caymus Vineyard in 1972. Today, he and his children carry on the Napa
Valley family winemaking legacy that can be traced back over 150 years and eight generations. 

The Wagners’ wines have long been hallmarks of the Ruth’s Chris wine list. And for this dinner,
we’ll be showcasing their collection alongside five incredible courses, like Ruth’s signature filet
paired with their world-famous Cabernet. Don’t miss your chance to try five family-made wines

A Nod Into Napa Valley

The Wagners took the name Caymus from the Mexican land grant known as Rancho Caymus, given to George Yount in 1836, which encompassed what eventually became the town of Rutherford and much of the surrounding area.
