THE ULTIMATE PIONEERING SPIRITS

The Federalist wines don't just pay homage to revolutionary times. Its seeds were first planted in the 1700s, and grew as colonies became country. Our second partner, Tito's Handmade Vodka, continues to be bottled by the same fifth generation family that started it all. From vineyard to distillery, the common story is one of uncompromised American craft.

America’s Original Craft Vodka

Produced in Austin at Texas’ oldest legal distillery, Tito's Handmade Vodka started as a party favor for friends.

TITO'S HANDMADE VODKA IS BORN

Bert “Tito” Beveridge – founder of Tito’s Handmade Vodka – wasn’t always known as “the vodka guy.” Between 1992 and 1993 he started making flavored vodka as gifts for friends. One night while at a party a stranger came up to him and said, “Hey you’re the vodka guy,” that really got Tito thinking.

In 1995, Tito obtained the first legal permit to distill alcohol in Texas, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka was officially born. The corn-based vodka is batch distilled using old-fashioned pot stills, and is still produced on the very same land where the whole venture started – Texas’ oldest legal distillery.

CRAFTED IN THE AMERICAN TRADITION OF NON-TRADITIONALISM

Born from the virtues of every forward-thinking, hard-working, red-blooded American, this is The Federalist. This Is American Craft Wine.

AS BIG, BOLD AND UNCOMPROMISING AS AMERICA ITSELF

Simply said, The Federalist is a wine for the people - distinctly American and wrought with as much character and bold spirit as the figures that don every bottle. Their grapes are grown, aged and crafted in some of America’s most renowned regions with the same rebellious spirit that created a nation.
