Ruth’s Chris Steak House Set to Sizzle its Way into Waltham
Newest Ruth’s Chris location will open in Waltham on Monday, January 23rd
Waltham, MA - Ruth’s Chris Steak House will soon bring its signature sizzle to Waltham’s technology hub on Monday, January 23rd. The newest location of the Ruth’s Chris brand will offer guests the same exceptional steak house experience the Ruth’s Chris name has become synonymous with in a fresh, new atmosphere. Waltham will be the 150th Ruth’s Chris Steak House and the second location in Massachusetts, the first located in Boston’s Old City Hall.
Since opening over 50 years ago in New Orleans, Ruth’s Chris has specialized in serving custom- aged USDA Prime beef on a 500-degree sizzling hot plate, ensuring the first bite is as good as the last. Their menu offers diners a wide variety of seafood options, composed entrées, made- from-scratch sides, soups, salads and decadent desserts all sourced from the freshest ingredients available. Ruth’s Chris’ robust bar program boasts an award-wining wine list featuring over 200 labels, a large selection of premium wines by the glass and hand-crafted cocktails. Ruth’s Chris Waltham will offer the signature “Sizzle, Swizzle, Swirl” happy hour, with full-sized appetizers and select entrées for only $9 Sunday through Friday from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Ruth’s Chris is thrilled to continue its partnership with award-winning celebrity designer and Boston native Taniya Nayak for the location’s design. Taniya’s fresh design seamlessly incorporates elements reflecting Waltham’s iconic history while paying homage to Ruth’s Chris Steak House founder Ruth Fertel’s New Orleans heritage. Taniya’s trademark style of bringing rich textures and unexpected finishes together with practical functionality comes to life in the 292-seat restaurant with unique elements including a custom 20-foot chandelier, dramatic floor to-ceiling windows, elegant banquets, and bold patterned carpet mixed with wood and tiled floors. The almost 10,000 square-foot space will contain a main dining room, large open bar area with lounge seating, and three private dining rooms fully equipped with AV.
The Ruth’s Chris team selected Waltham because of the recent influx of corporate growth in the area, the families and residents living in neighboring towns and the proximity to Boston. “We are looking forward to being part of the burgeoning Waltham community and our goal is to provide a top-notch dining experience to the corporate guests in the area, local families and new friends without having to leave their neighborhood,” said Ruth’s Chris Waltham General Manager David Gurwicz.
Prior to opening, Ruth’s Chris will host private team training dinners benefiting Massachusetts General Hospital Neurology Dystonia and Movement Disorders Clinic. The clinic aims to provide patients from around the world with top-of-the line care from highly specialized doctors on the forefront of medical research and treatment.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House will be located conveniently off of Rte. 95 at 500 Totten Pond Road, Waltham, MA, 02451.
