I've always heard people say wonderful things about Ruth's Chris and finally got to find out for myself last night. My husband could not have found a better place to celebrate our anniversary. The inside is intimate and candlelit with large windows displaying a view of lush green trees. Upon sitting down they sprinkled cute red heart confetti on our table.
I ordered a glass of prosecco while my husband had a beer to enjoy with our soft butter and warm crusty bread. We ended up lucking out as it was restaurant week and they were offering a prix fixe menu. For my appetizer I got the crab and corn chowder and it was rich and delicious. My husband had the Cesar salad and the portion for being a starter was huge.
Filet for me, ribeye for him and both were magical. They come sitting in a small pool of sizzling hot butter and are dusted with parsley. We inhaled them! We ordered creamed spinach and mashed potatoes for our shared sides. So much glorious butter! Bring it baby.
Dessert was individual cinnamon cheesecakes with warm cinnamon apple topping and a side of chocolate almond bark. They were kind enough to bring a special one for us and even snapped our picture and placed it in a take home frame.
The service was stellar and the whole experience perfect. Thank you so much for making our special day that much brighter!
