August 06, 2014

Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co., from Grammy-winning rock band Train, Pairs a night of sizzling steaks and rock-n-roll on Sunday, August 24

(Chicago, Il.) – On Sunday, August 24, 2014, Train guitarist Jimmy Stafford will spend the evening at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in downtown Chicago sharing a mouth-watering meal paired with award-winning wines from the band’s wine label, Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. guests will be welcomed “backstage” with a glass of the not-yet-released Bulletproof Picasso – 2013 Sauvignon Blanc. Ruth’s Chris guests will be the first to preview this artful wine with notes of citrus and tropical fruit, named after Train’s upcoming album out on September 16 of this year.

“Each delicious course was carefully crafted with Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co.’s wine portfolio in mind – from the soon-to-be-released Sauvignon Blanc – Bulletproof Picasso, to the Pinot Noir – Soul Sister, paired with our rockin’ blackened lamb chop, drizzled with blackberry demi glace,” said Bryon Cruz, Ruth’s Chris Steak House Chicago General Manager. “Our signature sizzling filet mignon is paired perfectly with the California 37 Cabernet Sauvignon – two bold flavors coming together in true harmony.”

This five-course meal, created by the Ruth’s Chris Chicago restaurant, highlights the flavors of each wine in the Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co. portfolio with the underlying goal of sharing an outstanding meal with old and new friends.
