Sarah C. Jackson
Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Sarah C. Jackson is Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Inc., headquartered in Heathrow, Florida. Her key responsibilities include leading a dynamic team in recruiting, education, benefits administration, employee relations, and general compliance guidelines for the company.

Sarah has quickly adopted Ruth Fertel’s philosophy of, “Do what you love, love what you do,” and is a strategic leader who believes that her focused, enthusiastic and passionate team can drive results and have fun along the way.

She joined Ruth’s Chris Steak House in July 2006 as Vice President of Human Resources. Immediately prior to working for the company, Sarah led Tony Roma’s HR and training teams for two and a half years.

She also worked for 15 years with Darden Restaurants, Inc., and had leadership roles in human resources, training, operations development and the new business division. Prior to that, Sarah held various positions in operations and training with Casa Lupita Mexican Restaurants and Grisanti’s Italian Restaurants. She is a member of the Women’s Foodservice Forum, the Society for Human Resource Management and is a past Elliot Motivator of the Year recipient.

After viewing "Living the Legacy," the 25-minute video recap of Ruth’s Chris founder Ruth Fertel’s history and vision for the company called, Sarah commented, "To be a part of a company like Ruth’s Chris is a pinnacle in my career. As the world’s leading fine-dining steakhouse chain, it’s important to keep sight of our humble beginnings with one restaurant in New Orleans more than 40 years ago.
