Ruth's Chris Steak House Opens Durham Franchise
Heathrow,Fla., September 9, 2009 – Ruth’sHospitality Group (Nasdaq: RUTH) today announced the opening of its Ruth’sChris Steak House franchise in Durham,North Carolina. The restaurant isoperated by Big Steaks Management, who currently owns two other North CarolinaRuth’s Chris Steak House locations in Cary and Wilmington.
The restaurant, located at 7007 Fayetteville Roadin the Renaissance Center at Southpoint, is directly adjacent to the newlyopened Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. The restaurantwill have spacious private dining and banquet facilities in addition to thedecorative bar, lounge and dining rooms.
“We have high expectations for the Ruth’s ChrisSteak House in Durham. Always classy but never stuffy, it is our hope andexpectation that this will be a positive addition to the community,” said Stevede Castro, CEO of Big Steaks Management. “We are bringing a small piece of NewOrleans to Durham will add a touch of sizzle to this dynamic community,” saidde Castro.
Guests will select from a menu that specializes ingenerous cuts of corn-fed USDA Prime Midwestern beef, custom-aged to the peakof flavor, broiled to order at 1800 degrees to lock in the natural juices andserved sizzling on a 500 degree plate as well as live lobster and daily freshseafood selections.
